Darren Azarian founded Integral Engineering Services in 2000 because he saw a need and an opportunity for high quality field work in environmental engineering projects. Darren has led Integral with the discipline from his military training as a US Army infantry soldier, knowledge as a degreed civil engineer, and experience as an engineer and a manager at England and Associate, an environmental engineering firm, and at the Metropolitan Water District. With over 20 years of experience in this field, Darren has assembled an incredible team that will deliver excellent service and positive results.

Steve Dunkel is responsible for the proper packing, delivery, assembly, and installation of Integral Engineering systems in the field. With over 15 years of experience in heavy industrial machinery installation and maintenance, Steve has the necessary experience to safely and efficiently manage the rigging, disassembly, and installation of our systems.
Randy Heitz designs, manages, and troubleshoots technical controls electronics, mechanical drive systems, phase controllers, and PLC systems. Randy has over 30 years of experience in facilities management and field services engineering. He has extensive experience in all phases of facility functions including electrical control systems, steam boilers, water treatment, water purification, lab safety systems/alarms, electrical generations systems, and fire suppression systems. Randy started his career during the mid-1970’s implementing safety and environmental control systems for the semiconductor fabrication industry. He specialized in the design, build, operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical control systems for safety and environmental compliance.
Franz Somm manages the day to day field services and performs the duty as the most senior technician at Integral Engineering. With over 25 years of experience in managing projects and teams to build/repair equipment and structures in the field, Franz has developed an incredible ability to troubleshoot and quickly fix systems in the field. He has worked on large structure requiring heavy machinery as well as complex equipment requiring highly skilled and specialized teams. Franz has also been training and certifying operators and technicians on the proper procedures for operations, maintenance, and repair of equipment.
Jay Alvarez manages the day to day construction and construction management operations of the company. With over 10 years of experience in the industry, he has a wide range of experience in the installation projects the company performs. Jay has also been training staff and subcontractors in the safety culture of the company and that of the expectations of our customers.
